I've been really cranking out the Stampin' Up! Christmas cards. What will I do once the holidays are over? I'm sure I'll come up with something. 🙂
The inspiration for today's homemade Christmas card came from this week's card sketch at i Love Card Sketches. My son says the card looks like a Christmas present! LOL Probably from all the shiny paper and ribbon.
I started out with a Smoky Slate card base. The background papers came from the All is Calm Designer Paper Collection — so beautiful! — using the two specialty foil paper designs that come in it. The large detailed star and card greeting of course is from the
Bright & Beautiful stamp set, which I embossed in silver. I added the spectacular 1/8″ silver ribbon to finish it off. The photo really doesn't show all the sparkle and shine on this card!
