Today's handmade thank you card features a sneak peek at one of the sets from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration Catalog, Lotus Blossom (139143). This is easily my favorite stamp set out of the catalog, and it can be picked up FREE during Sale-A-Bration with just a $50 order.
Just imagine all the card ideas you'll have using this set! I love the graphic look of the black and white on this card. The beautiful, detailed flower comes together simply with three steps of stamping. Including two greetings, this set has a total of seven stamps.
The pattern I used for the background came from the Back to Black Designer Paper Collection. It reminded me of lotus blossoms, and I thought it would make a great backdrop for the main image. I added a splash of color with the luxurious Real Red Satin Woven Ribbon. This ribbon is going away as of the end of December, so if you want it you need to order it now.
