This spooky Halloween card making idea started with a template from an old demonstrator magazine from Stampin' Up! a few years ago. I modified it some to create this creepy Halloween card.
All the “stamped” items are digital stamps from Piece of Poison except for the greeting. I can't remember what digital stamp set that came from offhand.
I embossed the front of the “coffin” using the Spider Web Embossing Folder and then sponged Basic Black ink over the raised area and the edges. I cut the spider out using the Paper Snips. It makes cutting out detailed pieces a snap! I then sponged Basic Black ink over the White Baker's Twine that the spider hangs from.
The inside of the coffin card features the skeleton, which was again cut out using the fabulous Paper Snips. The greeting was punched out using the Word Window Punch.
