Make some quick and easy cards with this simple color block card idea. Just cut out some coordinating cardstock or designer paper into equal sizes and glue them to your card front. Attach a sentiment strip stamped on white cardstock across the front and you're good to go!
I did emboss the colored cardstock pieces first with the Timeworn 3D Embossing Folder to step it up and give some texture. If you're short on time you can just skip this step! The card sentiment came from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set.
I used some of the retiring In Colors for my color blocks: Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee Classic, and Just Jade. I think I'll miss Cinnamon Cider most of all! What's your favorite of the five retiring colors?
