Quick Christmas Cards - www.Stamp4Joy.com

You won't need to spend a lot of money or have a lot of supplies for this simple Xmas card idea. Some extra paper was used that I had left over from the Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper collection. I cut them into equal sizes and then glued them evenly spaced across the card front.

The Christmas card sentiment came from Heartfelt Wishes and was stamped on another scrap of Basic White Cardstock in Basic Gray Ink. I then glued it over the top of the card front just below the center. So simple and quick, yet I think this easy Christmas card is really pretty! You can't see the silvery sparkle of the designer paper in the photo, but trust me, it's gorgeous!

The designer pieces were cut at 1-5/8″ x 4-1/8″. Using just three different sheets from the 12″ x 12″ Peaceful Place collection, I could get 22 cards with even a little left over. Add the white cardstock for the base and card greeting, and this card would cost about 32 cents total to make. Which means you could make all 22 cards for about $7.00. Not too bad for a bunch of handmade cards!

Of course, this simple card making idea will work for any type of card you need, just vary the paper and card sentiment to suit the occasion.
