In this Ornamental Pine Christmas card I used our Blendabilities to color over the white embossed branch and most of the pine needles.
Using alcohol markers to color over embossing can eventually clog up the nibs of those more expensive alcohol markers and NOT something you'd want to do because you'd have to replace the nibs, but since Blendabilities are disposable markers pretty much anything goes!
Blendability nibs are not replaceable, and the markers are not refillable, so by the time you clog up the nibs the markers will probably be dry anyway. This allow us to be a little more daring with our markers than we might be with others. 😉
Of course, this technique works better on darker card stock to cover any coloring that goes “outside the lines”
Can you believe the Holiday Catalog has almost come to an end? The new Occasions Catalog is coming in January, and it is AWESOME! I can't wait to get my new toys and start showing you some of them, so stay tuned!
