When you need a masculine thank you card, you can never go wrong using a nature stamp set like Rooted in Nature. And if you'd like to be able to cut out many of the images quickly, pick it up along with the Nature's Roots Dies.
I used Shaded in Spruce and Early Espresso Stampin' Write Markers to color in the tree. You can find these in the Regals and Neutrals marker collections respectively.
To give the tree a night sky background I used the starry stamp in Bokeh Dots and stamped it in Night of Navy ink. Then I mounted the tree over that layer after cutting it out.
The large green layer is Shaded Spruce Card Stock that I embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. It adds some — you guessed it! — subtle texture. It's beautiful, and I love it!
NOTE: Be sure to spritz some water on your card stock and use the 3D Embossing Folder Plate when using the 3D Embossing Folders in your Big Shot.
The card sentiment is a sneak peak from an upcoming set, Peaceful Moments. You'll find it in the Occasions Catalog, which you can begin purchasing from January 3rd. Pick up just the stamp set or buy it in the Peaceful Moments Bundle and save 10%.
I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies to cut the greeting out. You can buy it alone or save 10% by picking it up in the Free as a Bird Bundle with the Free as a Bird stamp set.
How'd You Do That?
I wanted to layer the greeting, but didn't want it to get too big. I decided to cut out an Early Espresso label the same size as the one in Vanilla card stock. By cutting it in half it could peek out the sides instead of all the way around. I like how it came out. What do you think?
Some Braided Linen Trim was used to wrap the focal piece. I then tied on a Bird Ballad Trinket to dangle on the edge of the card sentiment.
You can easily change this clean and simple handmade card design to a masculine thank you card by adding a thank you card sentiment.
