Making Birthday Invitations

Making Birthday InvitationsMy cousin asked me for some ideas for making birthday invitations for a 75th birthday.  I thought it would be easier to make them using My Digital Studio because they can be made fast!  Here is my first idea (click on images for larger view).

Make Your Own Birthday Invitations

These birthday invitations are approximately 9″ x 4″ and will fit in a legal size envelope if you want to mail them that way.  I combined the Little Milestones digital card making templates and designer paper on the front with Patio Party digital designer paper on the back.

The Little Milestones has a number of cute birthday templates for children's birthdays ages 1 through 10, along with designer paper, a 16-piece stamp brush set, and embellishments.  However, I loved the comic book feel of this image combined with the paper, and thought it was perfect for kids of all ages, even those in their second childhood!  🙂  The rest was just filling in text on the front and the back for the invitation information.  Oh, and I used some stitching from Simple Stitches on the back to divide the invitation from the address section.
