Making Birthday Cards

Homemade Birthday CardsWhen making birthday cards, sometimes less is more.  Now and again I like the look of a more simple, understated card.

The colors I used on this simple handmade card are Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, and Daffodil Delight.   The featured image is from the Make a Cake stamp set, stamped in Basic Black on Daffodil Delight card stock and then cut out.  I stamped the pinwheel directly onto the card and colored in with Daffodil Delight and Tempting Turquoise Stampin' Write markers, and put a little sparkle on top with a rhinestone.

The greeting is from Fabulous Phrases.  I really like the versatility of this set.  It comes with 30 words that you can use alone or combine for complete customization.  I find myself using it a lot.  Plus I'm more partial to script styles in my word stamps. 🙂

Do you have all the birthday cards you need for the month?
