I know many of you want to make quick and easy Christmas cards. This one couldn't be simpler.
I started with a Christmas stamp set called Greetings From Santa. It's retired now, but you can find it for sale on my Retired Rubber Stamps page. It's got some cute holiday sentiments that are perfect for your homemade Christmas cards or to make holiday gift tags.
For the background I just looked for some patterned paper that would coordinate well with the stamps I used. I think the tree pattern works pretty well, don't you?
This card was so easy to put together in a jiffy. I just stamped a few trees in green — stamping off a few times to give the image some depth — and then stamped the deer over top in black. Mounting the stamped image layer and the card sentiment in black ties in with the designer paper.
The whole thing was mounted on a black card base with some white card stock on the inside for writing… done and done!
Here's a photo of the stamp set so you can see what images are included in it. How many of these quick and easy Christmas cards do you think you can make in an hour?
