To make a vintage birthday card it's just a matter of mixing and matching a variety of designer paper patterns and maybe adding some buttons, ribbon, or other trinkets to complete the shabby chic look.
This card begins with a Crumb Cake base, and then I selected four different patterns included in the Tea For Two Designer Paper (129311) collection coming soon in Stampin' Up!'s Spring Catalog. I chose coordinating ink colors to stamp the hearts from Hearts a Flutter stamp set (129252) and cut them out using the Big Shot and the Heart a Flutter Framelits (130159). Both the stamps and framelits will be in the upcoming catalog, too.
The happy birthday stamps are from Fabulous Phrases and was stamped in Early Espresso. I chose one of the small buttons from the Naturals Designer Buttons collection and threaded some Linen Thread through it.
Be the first to host a Stampin' Up! party when the new catalog comes out!
