Make a Simple Birthday Card; Handmade Birthday Card

Make a Simple Birthday Card - www.Stamp4Joy.com

I wanted to make a simple birthday card for my son, and the Playful Alphabet Dies were just perfect! I cut the letters for “HAPPY” out in a rainbow of colors using my Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. The “Birthday” came from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. I just colored in a portion of the greeting image using my Pacific Point Stampin' Write Marker (from the Brights markers collection). Any color of water-based marker you have on hand will work, though. It's such a great way to isolate just one part of an image to get more out of your stamps.

I just love my Mini Cut & Emboss Machine! Many of the smaller dies will fit in this little guy, and it doesn't take up too much space and isn't very heavy at all. It's perfect for crafting on the go, too! Once you're done with it, just fold it up and tuck it in a corner on your workspace… it hardly takes up any room at all.
