I made this humorous birthday card for a friend of mine. On the back of the “record” it says, “Congratulations! The music you grew up on is now considered Classic Rock!” You can actually get that greeting as part of the Bombs Away Birthday photopolymer stamp set.
What makes this record card even more funny is I put the music paper on upside down. I didn't realize it of course until it was good and glued on! You might think, well, they probably won't notice. And you'd probably be right, except that my friend is a MUSIC TEACHER! LOL! Oh, well.
This card was so easy to make with the Circle Card Thinlits Die and the Big Shot. What a fun, interactive card! And of course the patterned paper is one of the fabulous designs included in the Modern Medley Designer Paper collection.
