I love designing homemade birthday card ideas specifically for the birthday girl or boy (or woman or man). 
Don't you miss receiving special cards in the mail on your birthday? I'm saddened by the rather impersonal trend of wishing people Happy Birthday on social media sites. Now, I also post birthday sentiments along with pictures of cards on other people's sites on their birthdays, but it's usually a picture of the custom birthday card I've sent them in the mail!

Stampin' Up! is helping to bring birthdays back with the stamp #imbringingbirthdaysback. You can stamp this on the back of your cards, on the envelope you're mailing the card in, or even create a birthday card where it is the focus!
Today's birthday card design really focuses more on the It's My Party Designer Paper Stack than anything. You can design a card that looks great pretty quick with some fabulous designer paper. The birthday sentiments and label came from the Number of Years stamp set. And, of course, I added a few rhinestones for a little sparkle!
