I have to admit, I am not a big fan of the new color Starfruit. On its own it looks pretty awful in my opinion. However, as you can see in the flower birthday cards I've been making, I'm finding when I combine it with other colors it's surprising how pleasing it can be. I wouldn't exactly say it's growing on me, but I seem to find myself using it more and more.
One technique I employ sometimes when using flower stamps is to stamp one or more flowers on scrap card stock, cut them out, and then pop them up using Stampin' Dimensionals. This gives a nice depth to your handmade card making. I also used this on the greeting pieces. I then popped the border edge up over the First Edition Specialty Designer Paper to give it more of a framed look.
