To create a sort of wave effect I used one of the Basic Borders Dies. I cut a few out in white to back the Balmy Blue “waves” to appear like the water was splashing around more and becoming “frothy”.
I created this DIY birthday card for a three-year-old girl, so I think the three otters are perfect! The two otter friends are bringing the birthday girl a fish as a gift. 🙂
I used my Stampin' Blends to color them in and add a bit of dimension to the water. Then I fussy cut them and the hats with my Paper Snips before gluing down.
One of the labels from the Tasteful Labels Dies collection was used to cut out the birthday sentiment and attached it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
