Crafting With You, one of the TWO stamp sets my son gave me for Christmas. How sweet was that? He covertly checked out my stamp shelf to make sure I didn't already have them. That still makes me chuckle! He didn't know it, but this was a stamp set I've been wanting since the new annual catalog came out… I can't get everything! So I was pretty excited.
I decided to put a “painting” on the easel. I selected a scene from the Meandering Meadows 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper pack. Believe me, it was very hard to choose! This collection has an assortment of gorgeous landscapes, but I finally had to chose one.
I cut out the area I wanted for my canvas. Then I used my Basic Black Marker and a ruler to fill in the clip on top and the horizontal bar on the bottom to keep my “painting” from toppling over. 🙂
My Brushes
Here the paint brushes are kept in a basket, which I stamped in Pecan Pie ink and cut out with my Paper Snips (he didn't get the coordinating dies, but I have ordered them!). Of course, you could save 10% if you order the stamp set and dies in the Crafting With You Bundle. As you can see, the brush tips still have “paint” on them.
I stamped the greeting and then cut it out using the oval die from the All That Dies collection.
