It's Christmas Card Sunday again, and I've got a pretty easy card for you today featuring about four or five new items from the Holiday Catalog, which goes live on Tuesday! And be sure to stop back Tuesday morning for my special offer!
First I took our focal piece of Crumb Cake and ran it through the new Woodland Embossing Folder (139673). I sponged some Whisper White Craft Ink on the tree trunks and dried it with my Heat Tool, and then went back with my Early Espresso Stampin' Write Marker and drew a line in all the tree notches. Finally I embossed the ornaments from Holly Jolly Greetings in Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder and then mounted it on a slightly larger piece of the new Red Foil Sheets.
Next I took a strip of the Red Foil Sheets and embossed the “Christmas” in gold, and mounted that strip on Brushed Gold Card Stock, attaching it to the front of the embossed piece. I used my Big Shot to cut out the “merry” thinlit from Brushed Gold Card Stock, and mounted that across the red foil strip at an angle. It's one of three thinlits found in the new Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies (139659). You can pick up the Holly Jolly Greetings and the Christmas Greetings Thinlits Dies in a bundle (w-140864, c-140865) and save 15%, too!
I then mounted the whole thing on a Crumb Cake card base.
Don't forget to stop back on Tuesday to see my special offer!
