Beautiful Nature Cards With Botanical Textures Paper

Beautiful Nature Cards - Stamp4Joy.com

Beautiful nature cards can be created effortlessly with the Botanical Textures Designer Paper.  And you know I love some black and white patterns to add a splash of color, too, so double whammy for me!

For today’s card I started with two leaf-patterned prints from the pack — one dark on light, the other light on dark.  The darker pattern became my background, while the lighter pattern was layered on top.  Each piece was backed with Coastal Cabana cardstock to frame and separate the layers.

I grabbed a Blending Brush and lightly added some Coastal Cabana ink at an angle — from the top left down and the bottom right up.  It’s a subtle touch, but gives the card a bit more depth and color.  Then I fussy cut a couple of leaves from the lighter patterned

paper.  I brushed some ink on one of them before attaching it to the sentiment panel.

The sentiment is from the Textured Notes stamp set and was embossed in white on Basic Black cardstock.  I used the fourth largest rectangle die from the Textured Notes Dies to cut the patterned paper, and the third smallest die for the sentiment.  After the first cut I moved it over and cut the right edge again to shorten the piece.

NOTE:  You can purchase the stamps and dies in the Textured Notes Bundle and save 10%

To finish it off, I glued two fussy cut leaves to the bottom right corner of the sentiment and added a white Neutral Matte Dot.

If you love making beautiful nature cards you’ll want to give this Botanical Textures paper a try — especially if black and white patterns are your thing, too.
