Grab the Pretty Florals Dies and make some beautiful floral cards that are sure to brighten anyone’s day. I paired them with the Sweet Blooms stamps and dies and the Florals in Bloom Designer Paper — and wow! I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.
If you're on my newsletter list and the layout looks familiar, you’re not wrong. I started with this month’s sketch and just stepped it up a notch!
Details That Make It Pop
The background paper came from the Florals in Bloom Designer Paper Collection. This pack is filled with soft florals and coordinating patterns. I chose a design that echoes the flowers I used in my focal piece. It ties everything together so nicely.
The black backing piece that holds the flowers started as a 2-1/4″ wide strip of Basic Black cardstock. I only cut one end using a circle die from Stylish Shapes. (I remembered to snap a pic before cutting so you can see exactly how I did it.)

For the sentiments I used the Sweet Blooms Bundle. I cut the “lovely” base in black and the top layer in white. The smaller sentiment pieces were embossed in white on black cardstock to coordinate, then cut with the smallest Perennial Postage die.
The flowers were cut from Bubble Bath and Petunia Pop cardstock, and I sponged the tops with Petunia Pop ink. The leaves came from Summer Splash. Dimensionals gave them a little lift on the black base, and I finished the card with a few Summer Splash In Color Resin Dots.
If you love beautiful floral cards, this one’s a keeper.
