The muted, neutral palette of this exquisite pattern from the Timeless Elegance Designer Paper collection is perfect for handmade sympathy cards.
I decided to break up the pattern a bit and add more depth by adding some reverse layering and paper piecing. The new Lots of Labels Framelits was used to cut out the center of the patterned paper. Layering each subsequently larger piece on one or two more sheets of card stock than the previous one, as you move out from the center it is elevated more and more. An interesting look!
The greeting came from the new Hostess set Best Thoughts, which you can only get by having a qualifying party purchasing at least $150. I used the Lots of Labels Framelits on the greeting piece, too. A row of pearls was added along the bottom edge to finish it off.
