Most Sundays this year I'm sharing handmade Christmas card designs. Instead of waiting until the last minute, why not join me and get your cards done over the course of the year. No stress! Or pick a Christmas card design you love and run with it!
Today's card relies heavily on various patterns from the retired Merry Moments Designer Paper Collection, which were mounted onto an Early Espresso card base. I snagged the Christmas greeting from Greetings of the Season, a retired stamp collection of Christmas verses for handmade cards. You can find it on my Retired Rubber Stamps page. It was stamped in Cherry Cobbler, the perfect red for Christmas. I used the Ovals Collection Framelits to cut out the greeting and the Early Espresso piece it's mounted to.
I also used the darkest marker from my Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities to color a few pearl jewels, and then attached them below the greeting.
Using card sketches is an easy way to get the creative juices flowing and cut down on your time trying to come up with a design of your own. Here I used this week's sketch at i Love Card Sketches. Hop on over there, select a sketch, and start creating!
