Welcome to my first Sunday Handmade Christmas Card Ideas post.
You may remember from my Top 3 2015 Resolutions post that this year I'm dedicating most of my Sundays to ideas for Christmas cards. Don't get caught short next year, join me and let's get those cards done!
This first Christmas card design for the new year uses an old favorite, Lovely as a Tree. You can never go wrong with this set, it's so versatile! I heat embossed the tree stamp in white on Early Espresso card stock, then cut it into three equal pieces and mounted them on Very Vanilla card stock.
The stripes along the bottom came from the Typeset Specialty Designer Paper. I added some beautiful Gold Satin Ribbon and affixed a Neutral Designer Button on top. I used That's the Ticket and the Ticket Duo Builder Punch to punch out the tickets and adhered them below the button.
This week's sketch at i Love Card Sketches was the starting point for this Christmas card. If you need more help coming up with handmade Christmas card ideas you can always pop on over there for more inspiration. And please share your creation with us!
