I love clean and simple cards, and today's friendship greeting card is definitely a good example.
The focal image came from the stamp set From My Heart. I stamped the image twice, using one of them to cut out the teapot and greeting to “pop up” over the base image using Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I pulled out my Coastal Cabana Blendabilities to add some color that beautifully coordinates with the designer paper below.
Wouldn't this make a wonderful birthday card for a friend who's a tea lover?
Update: The From My Heart stamp set has been retired, but you can still find it for sale on my Retired Rubber Stamps page.
The patterned paper came from the Park Lane and Flower Pot Designer Paper collections, which I mounted onto Basic Black card stock. Then I added a couple buttons from the Neutrals Designer Buttons.
My starting point was a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. It's a simple layout, so it's easy to design your card.
