This weekend my sister and her husband are moving into their new lakefront home. It's beautiful! I wanted to make a quick gift for them, and since I never got around to using this frame I thought I'd so a four seasons framed art piece.
Pressed for time, I whipped this up in a few hours. If I were to make it again I would change up a few things, but I don't think it's too bad considering how quickly it all came together. What do you think?
Of course, the main set featured is Holiday Home (135095) a new set of photopolymer stamps in the upcoming Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog premiering September 1st. Everything but the butterflies and the little flowers in the spring frame came from this versatile set.
The butterflies were cut out using my Big Shot and the Beautiful Wings Embosslits, and the little flowers stamp came from Flower Patch and were cut out with the Big Shot and the Flower Fair Framelits Dies. You could use a circle punch if you don't have the framelits. Of course, if you want this stamps and the framelits you can save 15% by buying the bundle!
To frame each season I used Basic Black card stock and a paper pattern from the Back to Black designer paper collection .
Here are a few close-ups of the seasons. I'd love to hear what you think, so please leave a comment.

Thanks, Pat, I appreciate the feedback.
Just found this great use of the Holiday Home bundle set. I know your sister will LOVE it, what a great gift!
I have been debating about purchasing this set and you have inspired me to rethink spending more $$$.
Thanks, Sharron! She did love it. I haven’t seen it hung yet, she just moved about 10 days ago. Can’t wait to see it up. 🙂
