I needed to design a birthday card — it never ends! 🙂 — and this one is quick to make with minimal stamping. I used a sheet from the very pretty Fan Fair Designer Paper and cut out two pieces 2-1/2″ square each. The designs shown are the front and back of the same sheet.
The nice thing about our two-sided designer paper is all the patterns and colors in each package coordinate with each other, so you don't have to work at it. Love it!
I mounted each on a slightly larger piece of Basic Black card stock, which really sets them off. When in doubt, black will almost always work to frame your pieces!
The base and greeting piece are Crumb Cake. The greeting is from Perfect Punches and was stamped in Basic Black and then punched out with the Extra-Large Oval Punch. It was then mounted on a black piece punched out using the Decorative Label Punch.
For a little sparkle I added a rhinestone.
How many birthday cards do you need next year?

Hi,
I love the font you used on this card! What is it?
It’s a stamp from the retired stamp set Perfect Punches. You can find it for sale on my Retired Rubber Stamps page. And keep checking back, I’m adding to the list all the time.
