Making the most of your paper scraps and saying hello in style!
Today, I want to share with you a card I created for Easy Papercraft Friday using the Hello, Irresistible Suite Collection. This month's theme is all about using up the paper scraps we have on hand. I think this collection was perfect for it.
The Hello, Irresistible 6″ x 6″ designer papers are gorgeous! For this card, I used five 1″ strips of varying
pink and green patterned papers included across the front of the card. Simple and beautiful!
To add some depth and dimension I layered the airy circle die cut in white from the Irresistible Blooms Dies. This allows the paper patterns to peak through. In the center I added the “hello” sentiment that I stamped and cut out using a small oval die from All That Dies. The combination of subtle colorful patterned papers and the delicate white die cut creates a beautiful contrast, highlighting the sentiment.
Overall, I'm really happy with how this card turned out. This collection made it easy to create a beautiful, cohesive card using just a few supplies. And by making the most of your paper scraps that you have lying around you'll be able to create something new and beautiful.
