Would you like to take your designs up a notch? Try integrating a little bit of paper piecing in your card making. It's such a small thing, but it sure can make a huge impact.
I created this card for a friend who is struggling with some serious medical issues right now. I hope you don't have friends or family facing the same issues, but if you do you're in my thoughts, too.
Here I used one of the stamps from In The Moment. This set is perfect for using your Stampin' Blends, Watercolor Pencils, or whatever your preferred coloring tools are. I used Stampin' Blends here.
To do the paper piecing I also stamped portions of the stamp on a few patterns from the 2022-2024 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Paper collection. Then I used my Paper Snips to cut out the pajamas and pillows.
After coloring the image I glued the pajamas (or what I imagined to be pajamas) and the pillows over the corresponding area. They blend right in, don't you think?
I decided before starting this card project that I was going to use the new In Colors on it. I didn't think about the color palette more after that, but once finished it occurred to me I could have made the circle a moon color. Oh, well, next time I guess.
