I made this sweet handmade card for my brother's birthday coming up in May. Isn't it cute?
I just love the Gumball Greetings Bundle, which you can still pick up for about another week. And with 10% off, too! As long as it's still available that is, which as of the time of this writing it is. The stamps and dies can be purchased separately, too, if that's your preference.
This card design features the upcoming 2022-2024 In Colors coming out soon. I think these are my favorite of all the In Colors we've ever had! That Tahitian Tide is pretty much my signature color! I love it! It's brighter than the old Tempting Turquoise, if you remember that.
The other In Colors represented by the gumballs are: Sweet Sorbet, Parakeet Party, Starry Sky, and Orchid Oasis.
The Details
The gumball machine parts and globe are from the Gumball Greetings stamp set, and were stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I then cut them out with either the coordinating Gumball Machine Dies or scissors. To give the machine some shadow and dimension I used my light Gray Granite Stampin' Blend.
The card sentiment came from the same set. After stamping it on some white scrap cardstock I cut it out with a die from Painted Labels. It was longer than I wanted so I just snipped off about 1/4″ from the bottom. I punched a small hole in the tag and threaded some White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon through it. I'm very happy they're carrying this ribbon over to the new catalog. It's really versatile and can easily be tinted with Stampin' Blends to match any color palette you want!
Everything was popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I think my brother will get a kick out of this sweet handmade card. I hope so anyway.
Here's a fancy DIY birthday card I made for my son's birthday with this same adorable bundle. Check it out, and then pick up yours while you still can in my online store.
