Darling Handmade Shaker Card Idea

Darling Handmade Shaker Card Idea - www.Stamp4Joy.com

This darling handmade shaker card idea came together just how I imagined it. It's so cute! The stamp set Jar of Flowers is part of the Flowers for Every Season Collection coming in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.

The Jar of Flowers Bundle can be seen on Page 12. It includes the stamp set and the little Mason Jar Punch. And how adorable are those little Mason Jar Shaker Domes?

I started off by doing a quick watercolor wash on a scrap of Watercolor Paper. Using just a drop of Pacific Point Classic Ink Refill on a clear block, I added some water and began the wash. I did use some painter's tape to tape down the paper to avoid buckling until it dried.

Here's the Stamping Details

I stamped the sunflower bouquet in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink a couple of times on scrap card stock. I cut out one full bouquet, then just a couple of the blooms to pop up. A variety of Stampin' Blend bundles were used to color the leaves and flowers. They were Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, and Rococo Rose. The water was stamped in Balmy Blue Classic Ink. I stamped it off on scrap paper first before stamping so it wouldn't be too dark.

The card greeting came from another upcoming stamp set, Forever Fern. You can find it on Page 110. It's part of the Forever Greenery Suite, which also includes the Forever Greenery Designer Paper.

It might be hard to see, but I added a few Flower for Every Season Gems in the shaker jar. They remind me of those marbles you sometimes see in the bottom of vases! I thought I was adding quite a few, but I think I should have added more.

Finally, I popped up the flowers and greeting using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I think this is a darling handmade shaker card idea, but what do you think? Please leave a comment and let me know! 🙂
