A Simple Handmade Christmas Card

I can't believe how quickly I was able to put together this simple handmade Christmas card. Keep reading to see how you can pick up the embossing folder that I used to make this card FOR FREE!

Digging around in my retired stamps, I finally settled on the cute Joyous Celebrations stamp set to create this card. The adorable images are perfectly suited to make quick and easy Christmas cards or to whip up some holiday tags.

I stamped the frame first in Shaded Spruce ink. The JOY was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. Both of these are very rich, deep, and just the perfect colors to use on your homemade Christmas projects.

After stamping the images I used one of the small ovals from the Ovals Collection Framelits to cut it out. This is a retired framelit collection that I have for sale on my Retired Rubber Stamps page. If you'd prefer to purchase our newer Layering Ovals Dies, just click on the link.

I don't recall offhand the name of this retired embossing folder, but I think it makes a very elegant backdrop for the sentiment. What do you think? Imagine all beautiful designs you could layer over it!

Finally, Stampin' Dimensionals were used to assemble this simple handmade Christmas card. No muss, no fuss!

These photos show the embossing folder and the images that are included the stamp set. You can find this stamp set and others on my Retired Rubber Stamps page. Purchase the Joyous Celebrations stamp set before Sunday August 11th and I'll throw in the embossing folder for free, too!
