Make a Homemade Birthday Card
Today's fun homemade birthday card features a cute new set from the Occasions Catalog, We Must Celebrate. You can pick up this whimsical group of 12 stamps comes in wood-mount or clear-mount.
NOTE: This birthday card uses a stamp set that is no longer available. However, you can find a gently used one for sale on my Retired Rubber Stamps page.
These little furry guys were easy to color in using my Stampin' Blends Markers Collection. You can pick these up individually, in color groups of two, or as a whole set. You'll want to be sure to use the Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad to stamp the images before coloring. This ink is specially formulated to use with alcohol markers so it won't smear or bleed. I then cut them out using my Paper Snips , which is a must have if you're ever doing any fussy cutting.
I thought they'd look cute precariously stacked one on top of the other, so I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals to attach them to the front of the card. I repeated the “happy birthday” card sentiment along the right edge.
I affixed another sentiment to the inside of the card, along with a cute little snail.
Please leave a comment letting me know what you think of this homemade birthday card. I'd love to hear from you! 🙂
