Lovely As A Tree Stamps – Four-Part Series

“I think that I shall never see a poem lovely as a tree” ~ from the poem Tree by Joyce Kilmer (1886-1918)

Lovely as a Tree StampsToday I am beginning a four-part series on what I believe is the oldest current stamp set, and probably the most popular, Lovely as a Tree (w-115026/c-127793)  A beautiful collection of nature stamps, I know I grab it for a variety of occasions because it's so very versatile.  I use it for making thank you cards, condolence cards, for making birthday cards, and on and on.  The cards I'm featuring in this series can be made pretty fast, so you can get on with your day if you need to.

Today I created a triptych for these remembrance cards.  You may not see it well in the photo, but I lightly sponged on some color for the grass and the sky.  Note:  You can always click on the images for a larger view.  The greeting is from Word Play (w-126335/c-126337).
